Catskill Mountain Chamber OrchestraThe Catskill Mountain Chamber Orchestra is under the direction of singer/composer Robert Manno who recently retired as a member of the chorus of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. He and his wife, violinist Magdalena Golczewski, are founders and co-directors of the esteemed Windham Chamber Music Festival, a summer festival which features classical music and jazz. PROGRAM: J. S. Bach: Suite #2 in B Minor for flute, strings and harpsichord Robert Manno: Seven Quiet Pieces for Eight Instruments Robert Manno: "Blues" for violin and double bass Intermission Jean Francaix: À Quatre for flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon Dvorak: "Silent Woods" for cello and piano Johann Strauss: Emperor Waltzes for chamber ensemble This performance made possible in part through the James Rem Memorial Fund.
