The newest exhibition at the Catskill Mountain Foundation Fine Crafts and Art Gallery, now known as Kaaterskill Fine Arts, is a group show of stunning botanical paintings, photographs and prints by contemporary artists from our area and from further afield. The artists in the show include Allen David, an internationally recognized artist of paintings, sculptures and tapestries who has exhibited widely in the US, the UK (including the Tate Gallery in London), Israel and Australia. He now lives in NYC where he continues to paint, design tapestries and write books. Jonna Espey, an avid naturalist and yogi, she brings an original technique to the medium of watercolor. Her current series of watercolors presents her unique vision and intense connection with nature. Katharine Pollak is a photographer and master photographic printer working in New York City since 1985. Her subjects include documenting rural life in hamlets and small towns in the Northwest; New York City; and still life, particularly botanicals.
