“Corn” by Barbara Nark

Barbara Nark grew up on a two-family farm in Schoharie County. She started taking photographs, at the age of five, after receiving an Eastman Kodak Brownie as a gift from her parents. (She still has the Brownie but uses a digital camera now.) She used to shoot weddings and portraits but more recently became the photographer for some musicians as well as a local artist and a theater group. She says, "There are so many things that excite me and that I am drawn to: nature, people, music, and all the line, color, form and energy within. Wanting to change professions has forwarded me in producing work that I will be showing at the Tri County Arts Council, Art Works, Union Street, Cobleskill, NY." Her e-mail address is bnark@midtel.net if you would like to contact her.
