We offer four categories of scholarships to students who wish to attend Sugar Maples.
This scholarship is for exceptional visual artists based on the merit of their work and who can demonstrate financial need. The award is determined by professionals in the creative industries. With an eye to diversity we are committed to supporting artists of unrepresented communities.

The College scholarship recipient is selected by Faculty based on criteria particular to each institution. To qualify, any faculty member at your school is welcome to submit your name for this award.

This is a discretionary scholarship to be awarded by members of CMF Board and Administration to recipients who they believe are deserving and represent potential benefit to the Catskill Mountain Foundation/Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts. To qualify, you must be nominated/selected by any CMF staff member.

This is a discretionary scholarship selected by the Director of SMCCA with consult from Sugar Maples staff. There will be 2 scholarships each year for Pre-K, Elementary, Secondary, College or University, Community Art Center Faculty. You are welcome to apply for this scholarship if you are employed as a Teacher at any level of education: Pre K-12, College or University, Art Center Faculty.
